This printable worksheet pack is designed for Foundation to Year 2 and focuses on writing, comprehension, and creativity. It includes:

- Drawing and labelling tasks based on the bus and the characters’ world

Try This: Design Your Own Bus Home!
One of my favourite ways to extend the learning is with a whole-class creative project. After reading the book, invite students to design their own bus home. They can draw or build their bus and label what makes it special.
Encourage them to think about:
- Where would your bus go?
- Who would live in it?
- What special features would it have? (A snack station? A reading nook? A rocket booster?)
Display all the buses on a wall or create a class “Bus Parade” across the classroom.
This activity is perfect for combining writing, art and design, and it always leads to the most amazing student work and discussions.
