The 100th Day of School is a huge milestone in every kindergarten classroom. It marks 100 days of learning, growth, and connection—and it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on how far your students have come. These 100th Day of School activities for kindergarten are designed to be fun, hands-on, and educational.

1. Count to 100 – A Classic 100th Day Activity
Counting to 100 is a must-do on the 100th Day of School! Use this moment to reinforce early number sense with engaging, hands-on tasks. Have your students count:
- 100 blocks, beads, or stickers
- 100 steps in a parade around the playground
- 100 claps, hops, or high-fives
These 100th Day of School activities for kindergarten also work great in a math centre.Count to 100 in Creative Ways
2. Create Your Own 100th Day Crown
Celebrate the big day with a craft! Provide paper, markers, and 100 stickers or stamps for students to create their own 100th Day of School crown. This activity is perfect for fine motor development and counting practice.
3. Plan a 100th Day Snack Party
Host a class snack station where students bring 100 small snack items—like pretzels or grapes. You’ll get students excited about healthy choices while practising counting and sharing.
📌 Tip: Be mindful of allergies and dietary restrictions. (As an allergy mum myself, I know how important this is!)

4. Host a 100th Day Parade
Bring the celebration to life with a school parade! Students can:
- Dress up as if they’re 100 years old
- Create sashes or signs that say “100 Days Smarter!”
- March around the school or playground with music and chants
This is a fun opportunity to build classroom community and showcase your students’ progress.
5. Create 100th Day Artwork
Give students the challenge of creating a piece of art using 100 items. This could be:
- A collage made from 100 paper cut-outs
- A painting with 100 dots
- A 3D sculpture using recycled materials
You can display the artworks around the classroom or school to mark the milestone.
